Conference Facilities - Every successful conference organiser knows that quality "time out" is essential for a focused conference.

The Kauri Room is one of Wellington’s largest and most flexible multi-use conference rooms, with a capacity of 400. It can be divided into four rooms, each with a capacity of 40-90 depending on configuration. The Kauri Room features European designed sound proof doors, no intrusive pillars and floor to ceiling windows - creating a spacious environment with natural lighting. With the entire Kauri Room open, one end of the room converts into a subtle stage area.

THE FOOD - Our current menu has a strong Mediterranean bias with selected Asian influences. We also produce hearty bistro style meals on a daily blackboard. Fresh and flavoursome dishes from our menu are served with creative style and flair. Our innovative menu offers something to delight all taste buds, not to mention our hearty Bistro specials! Enjoy our a la carte menu by the open fire, or relax with a drink by the pool.

THE STYLE - From the outset we sought to distance ourselves from the standard atmosphere of most hotel restaurants. Creative Interior design along with a fine selection of food and wine emphasize our commitment to the industry. Our friendly and efficient staff are employed for their genuine Kiwi approach.

All superior rooms have had a total refurbishment including bathroom upgrades, new lighting, carpet, bedspreads, drapes and wall linings - completed in February 2003. Fifteen paraplegic bathrooms on the ground floor were refurbished in 1998. Sky TV and Saturn have been installed in all superior and standard rooms, with 28 channels available for our guests entertainment.

All standard rooms have had a light refurbishment including new bathrooms, carpet, bedspreads and drapes. Mini fridges have been put in each room, which is convenient for guests and sports teams in house.
